Today a landmark comic will hit the shelves and have a pretty big impact!
'Life With Archie' # 36 has already announced to be the death of Archie and this has so many
people talking. I have read the book and will review it in the next episode of Secret Identity, but what I want to so is tell you
all now...Breathe!!!!!
Many of you have been picturing the loveable Riverdale High teen dying and that certainly is heartbreaking but the Archie that will be losing his life is the Archie from the 'Afterlife' magazine series which follows two separate lives of our hero; one if he married Betty and another if he married Veronica.
I will tell you that i have just read this comic book size issue (not the traditional magazine size) and was blown away by the emotion and sadness of this crazy event. Writer Paul Kupperberg does a brilliant job sucking you into the entire life of Archie by celebrating pivitol times in hi life. The art by Pat and Tim Kennedy (pencils) and Jim Amash (inks) is exactly what you would expect; traditional and perfect.
The comic will sell out quick so if you haven't already reserved a copy... get to your local comic shop early!
