Rock and Shock 2016 Is Bringing Us Double The Jasons!!!

Holy crap, you guys. You know me, and you know how much I love the Friday the 13th series. So when Rock and Shock announced that the man who played Jason in the most recent film would be joined by the greatest Jason of all time, I ran around the house screaming like a Crystal Lake camper lost in the woods after midnight. Kane Hodder and Derek Mears--it does not get much better than that.

Unless  of course, you look at the rest of the horor and heavy metal lineup that will be at the DCU Center and Worcester Palladium October 14th-16th.

Meg Foster (They Live), Bill Moseley (Devil's Rejects, Halloween), Malcolm McDowell (Clockwork Orange, Halloween, Cat People), Danielle Harris (Halloween and Hatchet series) and a ton more!!

On the music side, you've got Trivium, Huntress, Twiztid and a slew of other bands, plus Sepultura co-founders Max & Iggor Cavalera performing Sepultura's entire ROOTS album!

Rock and Shock is an amazing celebration of horror and heavy metal, and this year's show is going to be fantastic. You can check out rockandshock.com for more info and to get tickets for this year's show.

"Livin' On The (Andrew) Edge"

I am a firm believer in the fact that you need to be 'in love' with whatever creative outlet you choose. By that I mean that if you are an artist you may be able to draw anything, but if you love and feel passionate about your subject, it will show.  I feel that way about the art of Andrew Edge, especially his music themed art.  Andrew's work has a human feel and you can see so much like in the work.

If you think Andrew's art looks familiar, Andrew drew the second Doctor in my UNOFFICIAL DOCTOR WHO COMPANION.  I loved working with Andrew on this and since I have a couple top secret music projects going on (more on them later), I will be looking for Andrew to help me with some art!  But don't say anything to him... he doesn't know yet!

Andrew is a HUGE music fan and dare I say most of our conversations revolve around Kidney Stones and our favorite bands. We are constantly talking about what bands we have seen and what music we just bought, or what band we think the other one will get into.

Enjoy some of the music themed art from Andrew and please check out his website at
