Bond Is Back... In SPECTRE!

-------NO SPOILERS------

I have several fandoms that i'm incredibly passionate about... and the world of James Bond is one of them.  Since the first time I saw Bond on screen (the tv screen - ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE) I have been enthralled by the amazing world of 007!

So here we are with SPECTRE, the 25th James Bond film and so far... one of the best!  Here we see Bond return to a comfortable place. After the 'epic' and for me disappointing SKYFALL we see Bond on the hunt for the secret organization that was first introduced in CASINO ROYALE. As Bond begins to dig deeper he finds way more than he expects including a ghost from his past... one that has pulling the strings of his life for a long, long time.

Without giving anything away let me just say this movie i amazing, well paced and contains enough 'wow' moments to make everyone happy.  A cool moment in a film of so many was the on field work by M,Q Miss Moneypenny and Tanner helping James in a war he usually fights alone.

Daniel Craig is joined by a host of amazing actors like the amazing Christof Waltz who plays the main bad guy... the head of it all! Lea Seydoux and Monica Bellucci are great additions to the 'Bond Girl' and play their parts incredibly well. But the darkhorses in this film are Ben Wishaw (Q), Naomie Harris (Moneypenny) and Ralph Fines (M) who don't take a back seat in this movie.  In fact their expanded roles is of my favorite points of the movie. But it is Andrew Scott as the smug 'C' who gets under my skin so much I wanna slap him!

Overall SPECTRE is a throwback to 'old Bond' that many fans will appreciate. It has humor, mystery and a plot that keeps you thinking the entire time. Director Sam Mendes really has a handle on the character and gave us what we wanted...a fun escape!

My only complaint? The title song was awful! I don't judge a 'Bond' song by the singer or style... I only judge by how it fits with the movie. And so far... the past three haven't been good... at all!!!

So get out there and throw your money at SPECTRE because you will love it!!!

MATMAN RATING - 4 OUT OF 5 facial scars!

... and I count NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN as a Bond film... so that makes it 25 movies.
