Since he began his legendary run on ‘Fantastic Four’ and ‘FF’, Jonathan Hickman has carved himself a nice place in the history of the ‘world’s greatest comic magazine’. His cosmic take and epic stories have made many readers compare his run to that of the original by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby!
Sadly it was announced that Jonathan Hickman will be ending his almost three year run on ‘Fantastic Four’ (with #611) and ‘FF’ (#23). It will be interesting to see how the books, especially ‘FF’ will read with another writer.
As yet, no new writers have been announced, but let the rumors begin to fly…
In the meantime you can read Hickman’s work on ‘Ultimate Comics Ultimates’, the soon to be released ‘Avengers vs. X – Men’ and next week’s ‘The Manhattan Project’ from Image.
