I first met creator Don Mathias at Boston Comic Con 2014. He was right across from Stan Sakai and was owner of the golden ticket 'Sakai Project' book and after speaking to everyone... he was the ONLY one! By the way Don, thanks for hooking me up!
Don is an illustrator and writer from the beautiful town of Andover, MA (complete with a Planet Fitness) and has been featured in comics, newspapers and magazines! But what has been getting him a lot of attention lately is the Whovian influence his web-strip PEANIZLES has taken lately.
PEANIZLES is a strip (updated Monday, Wednesday and Friday) about some kids, probably not much different than you and the kids you hung out with! They are sarcastic and wisecracking and well.... pretty funny!
But over the past few weeks the strip has been spending time in the world of Doctor Who and because of that, PEANIZLES has been featured on, and been a huge hit on the Boston Whovians Facebook page; a page with almost 1,700 members... including Don and myself!
