With yesterday being New Comic Day I was a little shocked at my buying. Once again...very heavy in the DC world with FIVE of the eight being REBIRTH books.
I seem to be in the majority of readers who are liking what is going on and feel a connection to these characters, not their New 52 counterparts. The stories have been compelling, full of heart and even the ones that don't like as much are still pretty dang good!
Here is what I picked up yesterday....
CAPTAIN AMERICA #3 - Beautifully drawn and amazingly written. This is a book that I wish people kept talking about after the 'hate hype'.
TITANS #1 -One of the three books I was most excited about at the launch. The REBIRTH issue was fantastic!
MICRONAUTS #4 - My favorite comic from my youth has easily become one of my favorite comics of my old age.
HAL JORDAN AND THE GREEN LANTERN CORPS #1 - The best of the two and probably the one I will stay with.
ACTION MAN #2 - Really enjoyed the first issue. Loving the IDW toy line.
FLASH #3 - If you love the show than you will certainly love this comic! When done right, the Flash is one of the best characters in comics!
DETECTIVE COMICS #937 - The Bat-Family now on the run... this is getting real good!
ACTION COMICS #960 - The perfect companion to SUPERMAN.
