Press Release

Things are about to get much louder this spring when Papercutz, one of the industry’s leading children’s graphic novel publishers, releases, “There Will Be Chaos,” the first graphic novel based on Nickelodeon’s The Loud House on May 9. The Loud House graphic novel marks the first time the characters will appear in a full volume and features stories and artwork from show creator and executive producer, Chris Savino, and his talented team of animators and writers.

Papercutz Publisher Terry Nantier says, “It was clear from the start that The Loud House was something special. I think anyone who’s ever had siblings can relate to Lincoln’s struggles. And the pilot episode Nickelodeon previewed for us was one of the funniest cartoons I’ve ever seen. We couldn’t wait to add it to the Papercutz lineup.”
Added Papercutz Editor-in-Chief Jim Salicrup, “What has me excited is how hands-on Chris and his team have been with the development of the comics material. It’s been a great creative collaboration and it’s ensured that the comic fully captures the unique spirit and humor of the television series.”
“Comics are a first love of mine, so it’s incredibly exciting to expand The Loud House universe with this graphic novel,” said Savino. “With endless stories to be told from Lincoln and his 10 sisters, The Loud House feels just as 'at home' on the printed page as it does on television, and I look forward to sharing all the adventures to come with readers.”

Papercutz teamed up with Savino to distribute The Loud House mini-comics at San Diego ComicCon International 2015 and 2016, and more recently featured The Loud House comics in its Nickelodeon Pandemonium anthology.

The Loud House follows 11-year-old Lincoln as he gives an inside look at what it takes to survive in the bedlam of a large family, especially as the only boy with 10 sisters. With his best bud Clyde, Lincoln always comes up with a plan to stay one step ahead of the chaos, but whether or not it works is where the adventures begin. Inspired by creator Chris Savino’s (Rocko’s Modern Life, The Powerpuff Girls) chaotic life growing up in a huge household, the series was recently picked up for a third season.
Fans can watch episodes of The Loud House on Nickelodeon, Nick.com and the Nick App.
