Wow no joke 82 of the top 100 were DC. That must have turned some heads.

I would attribute that to several factors...the #1 issue thing - people/collectors picking up the "1st" because it's a 1st, the readers who were going to keep reading anyway, and the people who figured they would try the new direction out. I would guess that about 6 issues in the numbers will stabilize. I picked up All Star Western and Huntress.

I think this is an exciting time for comic fans everywhere, these numbers just reinforce that that thought. Obviously DC executives know exactly what there doing and Marvel lost their way. Another key point is the $ 2.99 price on 99% of the books, superb art, amazing writing, exciting new characters as well as the ones we know and love and most important, a chance to start fresh with a whole new universe; I'm SO in!!!
