As I've mentioned on the show plenty of times, keeping up with my comics reading seems to be a constant challenge. I have a backlog a mile long, and being able to put aside time to read has been more and more difficult as of late.
So, for the past couple months, I've tried to dedicate time every Sunday morning for catching up. I've been tweeting pics of my weekly "to read" plies under the hashtag #CoffeeAndComics, and I figured it would be neat to also showcase what I'm reading here on the site.
As you can see from this week's entry, Ms. Marvel was the title I really needed to get caught up on. I went through four issues this morning, and I really like the way this title is shaping up. To me, the book feels like the high school days of Peter Parker as he tried to balance his superhero-ing with being a kid in school, family responsibilities, and trying to have any semblance of a personal life.
I'll be talking about Ms. Marvel next time we record Secret Identity, and I'll be back next Sunday with more #CoffeeAndComics.
