Following the 'exhausting' vacation that is New York Comic Con I have rested a day now it's back to the real world. But first...a quick report!
As usual New York Comic Con doesn't disappoint when it comes to providing fans with a ton of stuff to look at and to be involved with. It is a place that provides sensory overload as it caters to every fandom; comics, games, movies... you name it.
I had a great time hanging out Vincent Ferrante and the gang at Monarch Comics all weekend. Being with his crew gives you the best in friendship, support and creativity. Sadly for most of the show I sold books, talk to fans and did a bunch of interviews for this show and '53:5 - The Official Stryper Podcast'. I got to meet some amazing people (more on that later) and spend time with friends but there is a crazy side of the show that can be frustrating... like the crowds, the lines and the money to get in there. I heard from so many about their issues while at the show and feeling like they didn't have a voice or way to say anything or help their situation. The show has gotten HUGE and many are also asking "how big is big"?
In the next few weeks I'll be posting stories about all the fun and awesome stuff going on. And now...it's time to get back to the real world.
