This story is very exciting and very timely!!! First of all Brian leTendre reviews the comic BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA / ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK on a recent episode of Secret Identity. His passion for both properties filled the airwaves and it made me admit that i never saw BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA. Followed by dead air as Brian had to process this... I committed to watch it before we recorded again.
Well, I picked up the Blue RaY and as soon as I publish this story i'm gonna watch the film and then give a full review!!!
BUT then this......
It was announced a few days ago that BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA / ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK # 1 was the bst selling comic book in October. Selling over 100,000 copies more than the number two book, THE CHAMPIONS people are so quick to point out it isn't an inflated number because the book was part of a Loot Crate release.
WHO CARES!!!!! In order to get into Loot Crate, the books as wella s the merchandise in said Loot Crate must be purchased so there is nothing inflated about it. It is like saying Mountain Dew sales are inflated because it's sold in vending machines. A sale is a sale and because it is part of Loot Crate. people who may not read comics will be getting a book that is both cool and maybe unknown to the purchaser.
And now... BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA!!!
