At mark Waid’s Thrillbent panel on Saturday at WonderCon, Waid talked about the new design of his digital comics portal, as well as the new series readers can look forward to in the coming months.
For me, the most exciting announcement was the new “Embed” feature, which allows people to embed issues of Thrillbent comics on their own website, in much the same way we do with YouTube videos now. This will lead to a lot more eyes on what waid and company are doing, which is very exciting for fans of digital comics, and comics in general.
A new series called Arcanum debuted this week on Thrillbent, and we’ve got the first installment for you to view below. Written by John Rogers with art by Todd Harris, Arcanum asks the question: “In this age of technology, how do we defend ourselves from an invasion of magic?”
