If you didn't already know, I had knee surgery last Tuesday afternoon. This was my second time having a knee cleaned up (I had a torn Meniscus and holes in the ACL fixed in my right knee about 15 years ago), and it couldn't have gone any better. I just wanted to thank y'all for the messages, support and many prayers that made the whole thing go so quick. Recovery.... not as quick!
The reason that I'm posting this is not to explain and tell you all the gory details, or freak out Brian with all the needle parts, but once again it makes me realize how cool and supportive the 'Secret Identity Podcast family' really is. I can always count on my texts, emails and Facebook IM's blowing up with your concern.
So a few days following the surgery I have been starting to get around the house a bit, watching a lot of TV (binge watching ARROW, IMPRACTICAL JOKERS and JOHN CARTER on BluRay) and reading a bunch of comics and Billy Idol's autobiography. I've done a little bit of writing but for the most part i've done most of what the doctor told me to do.
Yesterday I had a surprise visit from my old school friend Scott and his wife Wendy. They wanted to come by, catch up on things and pick up some books for gifts for friends. Thanks again guys!!!
As far as book stuff... I have a few announcements to make next week about trips to New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut as well as some details about a few shows in Florida!!!!
So again thanks for the love you guys give Brian and I and stay tuned for more stories about the health of two old dudes!
