I can now tell y'all about my latest project / podcast... '5 To 1'! This is a music podcast where I will countdown my five favorite songs from a particular artist. As a huge music fan and former disc jockey this is a chance for me to do what I really love to do... play my favorite music and talk about it. I never just 'listened' to music... i lived it! I wanted to know everything about the bands I listened to and would read every inch of the albums; producers, engineers, writing credits... it was and still is part of the full experience.
Since my main love is hard rock and heavy metal there will be many shows in that particular genre... but there will be Barry Manilow, Hall and Oates, Rick Springfield, the Bee Gees...and of course The Beatles. The Kinks, he Doors... everything I listen to will get a chance to shine.
At the end I will reach into a hat and pull out a piece of paper with a band or artist on it and that will be the next show!
The first episode will be released this weekend featuring the lovely sounds of Black Sabbath. Keep it here or mine and the Secret Identity Facebook page!
