One of the things I love about Twitter is how it helps me discover new things to love.
I became acquainted with Torunn Grønbekk through the heavy metal podcast I do with Antony Johnston, THRASH IT OUT. Torunn and I had talked about music a bit, and then I saw she was a fellow writer and had just launched a new webcomic called PASSED. I checked out the first two installments and was blown away--PASSED is fantastic.
The comic, which Torunn created and writes, is about death--and life. It's about what happens when you die, and what you leave behind. It's about loss, and regret, and moving on. It's about a lot things, and maybe that's why I love it.
There are three installments of PASSED up on the comic's website (www.passedcomic.com) which you can read right now. Artists San Espina and Luisa Russo both lend beautiful art to Grønbekk's stories, and it looks like more artists will be lending their talents in the future. There's also a blog where you can see concept art and read about the creative process behind the comic.
I'm all in for PASSED now. I can't wait to read more and I know I'll be talking about this comic for some time to come. Go check it out.
