As Brian and I packed up today at ConnectiCon, we both became incredibly nostalgic. We have had some incredible memories, met lifelong friends and had some great moments... and this year seemed to top it all!
First of all we would like to thank Mathew Daigle and his entire staff at the show (including and especially Kristen Benedict) who not only made sure we were having a good time but made sure we were taken care of.
Brian and I were able to provide three panels; How To Do A Podcast, How To Interview Celebrates and Doctor Who 101. Since ConnectiCon is a 3 1/2 day show, programming is very important to the attendees and we thank the folks for entrusting us with three. We were incredibly humbled and kinda embarrassed by the feedback we received.
Our booth and location were perfect and we were constantly being asked if we needed anything and given reminders for our scheduled events. This is the treatment everyone gets and it makes you not only feel good but gives you a great feeling knowing the staff have your back! This glowing review was NOT influenced by the can of Mountain Dew delivered to our table.
ConnectiCon is THE show to see the best costumes and meet the most interesting people. The picture above was my favorite of the cosplay there this weekend... The McDonalds / Batman Rogues Mash-Up!
So again...thank you guys and gals for an incredible show, a great weekend and another place we can call home!
